4-Year-Old Boy Hit By Car In Poughkeepsie Dies

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – The 4-year-old boy struck by a car Thursday night in Poughkeepsie has died from his injuries, according to the Poughkeepsie Journal.

The accident happened about 5 p.m. on Mansion Street as Jayden Crawford was playing with a sibling when he was hit by the car driven by an 85-year-old local man that was traveling westbound, the Poughkeepsie Journal said.

The driver has been cooperating with police, and no charges are currently being brought against him, the Journal noted.

An investigation of the accident continues.
