Police are asking the public's help in the investigation of an incident in which a woman was struck by a car on a busy roadway in the region.

It happened around 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 21 in Dutchess County on Merritt Boulevard near Vanderbilt Way in the town of Fishkill.

A description of the car is not available.
