John Gotti’s grandson got married just before he reported to federal prison, according to a report published Tuesday, Sept. 15.
Carmine G. Agnello, 40, of East Norwich, tied the knot with Ariana Puran before he was locked up Monday, Aug. 10, Newsday reported. The couple married Saturday, Aug. 8, according to Agnello’s lawyer, Steve Christiansen.
Agnello was accused of domestic violence against Puran in June. She later described the dispute to Newsday as a “regular couple’s argument” and said she wouldn't pursue criminal charges, but the state case against Agnello is still pending.

LI Child Rapist Arrested, Had ‘Direct Access’ To 6-Year-Old Victim: Authorities
A Long Island man raped a 6-year-old girl who was trusted to his care, authorities said Tuesday, Sept. 15.
Nixon Marquez Mestanza, 22, of Wyandanch, was indicted for first-degree rape and related crimes, the Suffolk County District Attorney’s office said.
Marquez Mestanza “had direct childcare access to the victim and used the opportunity to sexually abuse the child on several occasions in July and August 2026,” the DA’s office said in a press release.
