A Rockland County man was arrested when authorities found him in possession of videos and pictures depicting the sexual abuse of children, police said.
Congers resident Dylan Schneider, 28, was arrested on Tuesday, Aug. 4, following an investigation into his alleged possession of child sexual abuse material, New York State Police announced on Wednesday, Aug, 5.
Schneider was charged with three counts of possessing or accessing with intent to view an obscene sexual performance by a child less than 16 years of age.

A gas pump exploded at a public office in Albany on Tuesday, Aug. 4, sending two employees to the hospital, authorities said.
Wayne Brennan, a 62-year-old Albany firefighter, was airlifted to Westchester Medical Center for treatment of severe burn injuries, according to the Albany Police Department and his family.

Brandon Garcia, 20, was the victim of a shooting in Yonkers at around 8:43 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 2, in the area of Elm Street and Palisade Avenue, according to his loved ones.
