A home health aide is accused of stealing nearly $10,000 worth of jewelry from an elderly woman and her disabled daughter while caring for them in East Setauket, police said.
Jackquilin Smith, 40, of Medford, worked for Homewatch CareGivers in Hicksville and was assigned to the home of an 80-year-old woman and her 58-year-old daughter, who suffers from a degenerative neurological disorder, according to Suffolk County Police.
