BMW Driver Who Caused Wrong-Way Route 4 Crash Found With Cocaine, Stolen Plates: Prosecutor A 24-year-old Queens, NY man is facing charges for a crash on Route 4 that left multiple people seriously injured Sunday night, Sept. 16. Emelio S. Lutchmansingh was heading east in the westbound lanes, in a 2004 BMW M3, when he struck a 2020 Jeep Compass head-on at River Road around 11:15 p.m., Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said. Lutchmansingh fled the scene but was arrested nearby on foot, the prosecutor said. Pedestrian Struck, Seriously Injured On Garden State Parkway In Irvington A pedestrian was hospitalized with serious injuries after being struck by a camper on the Garden State Parkway, authorities said. The Ford E350 Camper was heading south when it struck the unidentified pedestrian walking in the roadway at milepost 145.2 in Irvington around 8:05 p.m. Friday, Sept. 13, New Jersey State Police Sgt. Charles Marchan said. The pedestrian suffered serious injuries and was taken to an area hospital. The crash remains under investigation, and no additional information is available.

Driver Crossed Double Yellow Lines In Hopatcong Crash, Police Seek Help Tracking Them Down Police in Hopatcong are seeking the public’s help in a hit-and-run crash investigation. The Hopatcong Police Department said the incident happened near 130 Dupont Ave. around 7:40 p.m. Friday, Sept. 13. Officials ID Man, 39, Killed By Train In Red Bank Officials have identified the man struck and killed by an NJ Transit train on Saturday, Sept. 13 in Monmouth County. Anthony DePalma, 39, of Atlantic Highlands, was struck at the Monmouth Street crossing in Red Bank and involved North Jersey Coast Line train 7240, according to an NJ Transit spokesperson.
