A beloved US Army veteran from the Hudson Valley who dedicated much of his time and effort toward helping his fellow troops is being remembered for his large personality and ability to form a lasting bond with anyone. Putnam County resident Luke Rathschmidt of Mahopac died unexpectedly in South Carolina on Saturday, May 18 at the age of 38, according to his obituary. George Santos, who is now the subject of an FBI investigation into accusations he stole charity money intended to help a Navy veteran’s dying service dog, Politico reports. Criminal Case Against Area Father Involved In Twins' Hot Car Deaths Put On Hold
The prosecution announced that there is no grand jury action in the case of the Hudson Valley dad who allegedly left his 1-year-old twins in a hot car causing their deaths until August 27, following pleas by his attorney to dismiss the case.
