1-Year-Old Rescued From Locked Car In Hudson Valley
As the temperatures soared to 98 degrees, police in the Hudson Valley rescued a 1-year-old boy from a locked car. The incident occurred in Rockland County around 2:15 p.m. on Tuesday, July 16, at the Costco parking lot in Nanuet. According to Det. Norm Peters of the Clarkstown Police, an officer, found the child's father outside the vehicle who said he had accidentally locked the door with the boy inside. Person Trapped After Vehicle Rolls Over In Northern Westchester
A person had to be rescued after they were trapped inside a rolled-over vehicle in Northern Westchester. On Sunday, Nov. 27 around 12:20 a.m., firefighters responded to a report of an overturned vehicle in Yorktown Heights on Crow Hill Road in the area of Colonial Hill Road, according to the Yorktown Heights Volunteer Fire Department. A Hudson Valley woman is alive thanks to the efforts of an area deputy who happened to see her crash her vehicle, which then burst into flames. The incident took place in Putnam County around 10 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 3, on Route 9D in the Town of Philipstown near Boscobel. New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo may not have exactly traded in his business suit for a superhero’s cape but he was caught on camera helping a passenger trapped in an overturned vehicle on the Brooklyn Queens Expressway. Two Good Samaritans are being hailed as heroes after rushing to pull an unconscious woman who was trapped inside an overturned vehicle engulfed in flames on the Taconic State Parkway near the Northern Westchester/Putnam border on Thursday.
