Her body was found on the first floor of the house at 3 Waldron Ave., Hudson ValleyNews12 said. He husband was reportedly taken to the hospital.
The fire broke out about 8 a.m. By the time firefighters arrived, they found flames and heavy smoke, HudsonValleyNews12 said.
It took about 60 firefighters to put out the fire, according to Hudson Valley News. Firefighters said they believe the fire started in the rear bedroom, but the cause remains under investigation.
