Kimberly Carlisle, 33, of Spring Valley, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, after the dog, who is being trained to combat illegal contraband from entering the facility, walked by on a training mission and smelled the drugs, said Chief William Barbara.

Shaz will graduate next week from the K-9 academy along with her handler, he added.

Carlisle was released on an appearance ticket.
