Police Seek Public's Help In Search For Missing Rockland Woman

RAMAPO, N.Y. -- Officers from the Ramapo Police Department are currently searching for a missing 83-year-old woman in the area of Villa Lane, in the Village of Wesley Hills.

Numerous patrol officers from Ramapo and the Rockland County Sheriff's Department are involved in the investigation. The Ramapo Police Department K9, as well as a bloodhound and a helicopter from the Westchester County Sheriff Department are also searching for the woman.

The missing woman is described as being a white female with black hair approximately 5 feet tall and weighing 100 pounds. She recently had knee surgery and may be wearing a knee brace or walk with a limp.
