The production, based on the John Grisham novel of the same name, will be directed by Joe Albert Lima.
Auditions are scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 6, at 4 p.m., according to the playhouse's website.
Callbacks will take place Tuesday, Dec. 8, and Wednesday, Dec. 9, at 7:30 p.m. by invitation only.
The story focuses on the story of a young lawyer as he fights for a black man who avenged his 10-year-old daughter's rape at the hands of two bigoted men.
Performances are scheduled for Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from March 11 to April 9. Some shows on Wednesdays and Thursday during that period may also be scheduled.
The show features 11 male and three female characters and three roles that could be cast as either gender. All characters will be required to speak in a Southern dialect except for one, who will speak with a New England accent.
