Fatal Crash: Woman ID'd As Victim After Car Hits Barrier In Region A man sustained serious injuries, and his passenger died after a single-car crash in the region. It happened in Dutchess County around 7:10 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 15, in Pleasant Valley.  New York State Police said a 55-year-old Poughkeepsie man was driving a 2006 Honda sedan eastbound on Sherow Road when he failed to stop at the intersection with North Avenue.  The vehicle crossed both lanes of North Avenue, ultimately hitting a barrier on the east shoulder, said police. 22-Year-Old Shot In Broad Daylight In Hudson Valley Police are searching for a suspect after a 22-year-old man was shot on a street in the region. The incident occurred in Dutchess County around 11:45 a.m., Saturday, June 8, in the city of Poughkeepsie. According to the city of Poughkeepsie Police, officers responded to the area of Main Street and N White Street to a report of shots fired. When officers arrived, they located numerous spent shell casings but no victims. Police said a short time later, they received word that a gunshot victim arrived at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie. The victim had sustained a non-life…
