After more than four decades of pulled pork, pit-smoked ribs, and memories steeped in barbecue sauce, a Saratoga Springs institution has closed its doors for good.
PJ’s BAR-B-QSA, the family-run barbecue joint on Kaydeross Avenue West, has officially closed after 42 years in business, owners PJ and Carolyn Davis announced on Facebook Friday, July 4.
“It is with a mix of sadness, gratitude, and pride that we share this news,” the couple wrote. “We are closing this cherished chapter of our lives.”

More than 443,000 Nissan and Infiniti vehicles are being recalled due to an engine defect that can cause sudden failure and increase crash risks.
Nissan issued the recall for about 443,899 vehicles, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said. The issue affects several models from 2019 through 2024, including Nissan Rogues, Nissan Altimas, Infiniti QX50s, and Infiniti QX55s.

Bell Sports is recalling about 31,200 bike helmets sold in the US and 480 in Canada, the Consumer Product Safety Commission announced on Thursday, June 26. The recall affects children's Axle, Cadence, Rev, and Frenzy helmets, along with adult Cadence and Passage models.
