Police are seeking the public's help in locating a man accused of stabbing his father to death on Long Island. The incident happened in Rocky Point at 30 Quail Road on Saturday, Nov. 9, around 1:25 a.m. Officers arrived to find Joseph Zoll, age 61, with stab wounds, according to Suffolk County Police. A Hudson Valley man has been accused of driving recklessly on Long Island. Suffolk County Police say they observed a purple 2023 Dodge Charger doing donuts in the hamlet of Shirley at around 1:40 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 6 at the intersection of Montauk Highway and William Floyd Parkway. Gilgo Beach Murders: Reward Offered As New Details Released About 'Asian Doe' Victim
Authorities are hoping new details about a male victim in the Gilgo Beach serial murders case – and a cash reward – will lead to his identification. On Long Island, the Gilgo Beach Task Force released details about clothing that was worn by the so-called “Asian Doe,” whose skeletal remains were found along Ocean Parkway in Gilgo Beach on April 4, 2011. The man, who investigators revealed was beaten to death sometime prior to 2006, was found wearing all women’s clothing. Six teenagers are recovering after a shooting at a Fourth of July party in the region. Police in Albany were called about a shooting in the city’s Pine Hills neighborhood, on Myrtle Avenue near Quail Street, at around 12:15 a.m. Friday, July 5. When officers arrived, they found evidence of gunfire in the home’s backyard and in the street that occurred during a large gathering, police said. A woman is recovering after she was stabbed during a robbery in the region. Albany Police were called at around 7:45 p.m. Friday, June 14, for a robbery near Washington and Lexington avenues.
