$50K Powerball Tickets Sold At 2 Hudson Valley Stores, Including Westchester Shop Two prize-winning Powerball tickets worth $50,000 were sold at stores in the Hudson Valley.  The two tickets, which were two of nine third-prize-winning Powerball tickets sold in New York for the Saturday, Feb. 4 drawing, were sold in stores in both Westchester and Orange Counties, New York Lottery announced.  The store in Westchester County that sold the winning ticket was Daisy's Cards and Gifts located in Yonkers at 8 North Broadway.  The Orange County store where the prize-winning ticket was bought was Smokes 4 Less located in Newburgh at 59 North Plank Rd.  T…

Man Wanted For Hudson Valley Armed Robbery Nabbed After Parkway Chase, Police Say A man wanted for the alleged armed robbery of a Hudson Valley mini-mart was nabbed by state police following a chase on the Sprain Brook Parkway. The incident started in Rockland County around 9:43 p.m. Monday, Dec. 12, in Clarkstown. New York State Police were advised to be on the lookout for a vehicle involved in an armed robbery of a mini-mart in Clarkstown, said Trooper Tara McCormick.  Troopers spotted the wanted vehicle, a 2014 Chevrolet Equinox, traveling southbound on the Mario Cuomo Bridge and attempted to stop the vehicle but the driver refused to stop and a pursuit ensued, …
