A recall has been issued for specific frozen fruit products linked to pineapple provided by a third-party supplier due to the potential of Listeria contamination.
SunOpta Inc’s subsidiary, Sunrise Growers Inc., issued the voluntary recall on Wednesday, June 21.
The following products were distributed by these retailers:

A new surveillance video from a Whole Foods store shows Gabby Petito hours before she was killed by her boyfriend, Brian Laundrie.
The video, obtained by Fox News Digital, shows the couple driving up to the store in Petito's signature white van on Friday, Aug. 27, 2021, just a short time after the two had a fight at a Jackson Hole, Wyoming restaurant called the Merry Piglets.

Whole Foods To Close Stores In Four States
Whole Foods will be shuttering the doors of six markets across four states, including one location in the North East, Amazon announced, according to a Bloomberg report.
Citing long-term goals, Amazon, which purchased Whole Foods for $13 billion in 2017, confirmed that some stores will soon be closing as they shift their business plan.
Stores will be closing in these locations:
Brookline, Massachusetts;
Montgomery and Mobile, Alabama;
Tarzana, California;
The Englewood and DePaul neighborhoods of Chicago, Illinois.

Leafy Greens With Listeria Sold At Area Grocery Stores, New Test Reveals
Listeria has been found in leafy greens from a variety of grocery store chains in New York, Connecticut and New Jersey, according to Consumer Reports.
The nonprofit organization says six of 284 samples bought from Acme, Costco, Hannaford and Whole Foods stores were tainted with listeria monocytogenes. The items purchased included lettuce, spinach, and kale.
Consumer Reports says it found the bacteria in both unbagged and prewashed products.

Melon Recalled Due To Salmonella Outbreak
A recall has been issued for melon products sold in 16 states, including New York, after being linked to a salmonella outbreak, The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said.
Ninety-three people were infected, 23 of whom were hospitalized. No deaths have been reported.
The recall is for cut cantaloupe, watermelon and honeydew produced by Caito Foods LLC. The fruit has been sold under various brands or labels at Kroger, Walmart, Trader Joe's, Target and Whole Foods.

Whole Foods has announced a voluntary recall of prepared food containing baby spinach that may be contaminated with salmonella.
Salads, sandwiches, wraps and pizza, as well as products purchased from a Whole Foods salad bar or hot bar containing baby spinach through Wednesday, Jan. 23, are among the products affected, according to the Food and Drug Administration.
