Woman Busted For Purse Snatching, Injuring Victim In Region, Police Say
A 32-year-old woman from the region was charged with felony attempted purse snatching and assault after allegedly trying to grab a woman's purse, knocking her down, and breaking her wrist.
Sullivan County resident Jessica J. Myers, of Monticello was charged on Monday, Aug. 7 for the Monday, July 31 incident that took place on Broadway in the village of Monticello.
Myers attempted to forcibly steal a purse from a 56-year-old woman, who did not know Myers, said Lt. Mark Johnstone, of the Monticello Police.

A Hudson Valley man has been charged with luring a child to commit a felony after allegedly exposing himself to an 8 -year-old girl.
Orange County resident, James A. Grant Jr., age 74, Pine Bush, was arrested on Wednesday, July 26 for an incident that took place on Wednesday, July 19.
