A 15-year-old boy was hit twice in a Westchester County shooting, police said. On Wednesday, Oct. 26 at around 10:30 p.m., police responded to a reported shooting in Yonkers in the area of 290 Woodworth Ave. and found the victim suffering from two gunshot wounds to his lower body, according to Yonkers Police. The victim was taken to a local hospital and is now in stable condition, police said. A Westchester County man who died of a drug overdose was also previously involved in a shooting before his death, according to police. On Tuesday, Oct. 25 around 5 p.m., Mamaroneck Village Police responded to an apartment at 604 Tompkins Ave. where they found a 23-year-old man who had died of a drug overdose, police said. A suspect is on the loose after allegedly shooting a man in the torso in a parking lot in the Hudson Valley. The incident took place in Dutchess County around 2:30 a.m., Sunday, Oct. 16 in the City of Poughkeepsie in the area of 96 Main St. According to the City of Poughkeepsie Police Det. Lt. 18-Year-Old Shot Walking Down Street In Hudson Valley, Police Say
Police are investigating after an 18-year-old was shot in the leg while walking down a street in the Hudson Valley. The incident took place in Rockland County just after 1 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 5 in the hamlet of Hillcrest. According to Det. Lt. Chris Franklin of the Ramapo Police, the man was walking on Slinn Avenue in Hillcrest when he was shot. He was treated at Westchester Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries, Franklin said. A suspect is on the run after allegedly shooting another man during a dispute in Westchester. The incident occurred around 12:45 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 1 in Yonkers, in the area of Mill Street.
