El Bandido Mexican Restaurant, located in Rockland County in Spring Valley on Route 59, recently closed without a word to the community, according to the Rockland Report. The restaurant was known for a guitarist strolling from table to table, its mole chicken, and its family-friendly atmosphere.  The Tello Family ran the restaurant for 48 years. 15-Year-Old Struck By Car In Spring Valley A 15-year-old was struck by a vehicle and seriously injured along a Hudson Valley roadway. The incident occurred in Rockland County around 6:10 p.m., Monday, May 6, at 290 W. Route 59 in Spring Valley. According to Det. Matthew Galli of the Spring Valley Police, responding officers, found the teen being treated by Chaverim and Hatzoloh EMS members.  The victim was transported to Westchester Medical Center in Vahalla for further treatment and is listed in stable but serious condition, Galli said. Man Rushed To Westchester Medical Center After Jumping From Overpass A man is in critical condition after jumping from an overpass bridge in the Hudson Valley. The incident took place in Rockland County around 11:15 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 16 at Route 59 and Dutch Lane in Spring Valley. The incident took place in Rockland Countyaround 4:20 a.m., Monday, Oct. 23, on Route 59 in Spring Valley. According to Spring Valley Police Department Det. Three From Rockland Nabbed For DWI In Stops By Sheriff's Officers Three people were arrested for DWI by the Rockland County Sheriff's Office during routine traffic stops. Those arrested included: Omar Bello, 24, of Suffern, was arrested around 4:25 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 2, after being stopped on Route 59 in Spring Valley. During the stop, deputies found that Bello was allegedly under the influence and was driving with a license. He was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle, DWI and aggravated DWI with a BAC greater than .18 percent. He was released on a summons to appear in court on Dec. 18.
