Suffern Man Tried Sexually Assaulting Woman In Bergen County: Prosecutor Two New York men wanted in separate violent crimes were tracked down last month in Bergen County, thanks to the county's newly-launched Crime Suppression Team, authorities said. The first arrest was made on Saturday, Dec. 21, when members of the team identified 51-year-old Randolph R. Smith of Far Rockaway, NY, who was wanted in connection with an armed robbery that occurred in New York City, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said. Wanted Motorist Who Fled Two Palisades Parkway Police Stops Nabbed By New York State Troopers A wanted driver who fled a Palisades Interstate Parkway police stop in New Jersey late last year was captured by New York State troopers in the Hudson Valley after doing it again, authorities said. Vincent Gambrell, 56, of New Windsor in Orange County had initially sped off when Officer Thomas Shine tried to stop his Ford Taurus on the New Jersey side of the northbound parkway shortly before midnight last Dec. 17, Det.
