Hudson Valley Man Charged With Homicide In Fentanyl Death A Hudson Valley man has been charged with homicide for allegedly selling fentanyl to a man who later died. Orange County resident Timothy Lempicki, age 36, of Washingtonville, a village in Blooming Grove, was indicted by a grand jury on Thursday, Nov. 30. According to Orange County District Attorney David Hoovler, Lempicki was also charged with manslaughter, and criminal sale of a controlled substance. Ulster County resident Jason Lynch, age 44, of the town of Lloyd, was stopped around 1:30 a.m., Tuesday, July 4 in a 2014 Lexus IS in the city of Newburgh. Nicole Brown, of Orange County, went missing on Wednesday, Nov. 30 in the Monroe/Blooming Grove area, said Domingo Ramos, the founder of Hope Alive, an organization that helps search for missing people. Brown, age 45, is a traveling nurse who is well-known throughout the area and is well-liked, said Ramos. Being missing is very unusual for Brown who has children and is married, Ramos said. New York State Police investigators in Montgomery issued an alert for a wanted man who has multiple warrants out for his arrest in the Hudson Valley. David Smykla, 39, was arrested for possession of crack cocaine during a traffic stop in Newburgh last year. He was taken into custody after attempting to flee on foot, taking police on a short chase before he was stopped. Driver Loses Control Of Vehicle Ends Up In Creek In Area A speeding motorist was injured after losing control of his vehicle and ending up in a creek in the area. The single-vehicle crash took place in Orange County around 7:11 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 19, on Tuthill Road in Blooming Grove, said Blooming Grove Police Officer Michael Graziano. Graziano said speed played a factor in the man losing control and going off the roadway, into a creek, where the vehicle rolled over. When police arrived on the scene the driver was out of the vehicle.  The driver received minor injuries, Graziano said.  The crash is under investigation.
