Spring Valley trustees offered $32,000 in funding for this year's camp, down from $114,000 a year ago, lohud.com said.
The camp is a six-week program for low- to moderate-income children with three meals a day, academic reinforcement and recreational activities, reported lohud.com.
Some authorities are pushing to send children to a similar program in Ramapo, lohud.com noted.
