The 66th Precinct lieutenant, Michael Andreano, was put on "desk duty" while a corruption allegation is investigated, said the Post report.
Three bosses in the NYPD have charges pending, The New York post said.
Andreano is alleged to have had improper dealings with Boro Park "Shomrin" patrol leader Alex “Shaya” Lichtenstein, whose arrest was on charges of conspiracy and bribery related to gun permits, sources told The New York Post.
The 44-year-old Lichtenstein was arrested by federal agents in April at his Pomona home, according to the New York Post report.
