ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- A crash involving an overturned vehicle has resulted in a downed utility pole, some power outages and the closure of a stretch of Route 202 in Montebello on Sunday morning.

The vehicle went off the roadway and hit a telephone pole with the pole and downed wires blocking the roadway at the intersection of Copeland Drive, Ramapo Police said. The closure is between Mayer Drive and Viola Road.

The driver suffered very minor injuries, according to police.

Orange and Rockland Utility Company is on the scene and advising that the road will be closed throughout the afternoon.
