DUI Crash In Plainville Uncovers Loaded Gun, Ends In Arrest: Police A Connecticut man was arrested after crashing his car while intoxicated with a loaded gun in his wrecked vehicle, police said. Michael Washington, 64, of Meriden, was arrested after troopers responded to a crash on Route 72 near Exit 4 in Plainville around 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 19, Connecticut State Police said. Washington appeared intoxicated and failed a field sobriety test, police said. Troopers took him into custody without incident. Peabody Man Seriously Injured In NH Snowmobile Crash A 57-year-old Massachusetts man was severely injured this week when he crashed a rented snowmobile he was on while riding a trail in New Hampshire. The Peabody man was injured around 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 19, in Lincoln, New Hampshire, while riding among a tour group along the Primary Trail 156 at the Bog Pond Trail Junction, state wildlife officials said. The rider suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries in the crash. The crash is under investigation.

Moosup Man Pulled From Burning Car After Crash In Sterling Dies at Hospital A 42-year-old Connecticut man was killed on Wednesday evening, Feb. 19, when he lost control of his sedan and slammed into a utility pole in Windham County, authorities said.
