A round of strong thunderstorms is moving toward the area from the south and west, with some parts of the region expected to see potentially severe weather Sunday night, May 19. Areas north and west of New York City will be the most affected. Look for storms sometime between 8 p.m. Sunday and midnight north of the I-84 corridor in New York and Connecticut.
