Police Searching For Suspect After A Long Island TD Bank Is Robbed For Second Straight Day
Police are searching for a suspect after a Long Island TD bank was robbed for the second day in a row.
The latest robbery took place around 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 23, at the bank located at 6060 Brush Hollow Road in Westbury, Nassau County Police said.
According to detectives, the suspect entered the TD Bank, approached a teller, and handed a note demanding money.
The teller surrendered an undisclosed amount of cash and the man fled on foot in an unknown direction.
The man is described as being Black, 6-foot tall, with a stocky build, and wearing dark clothing.

Man, Woman Nabbed For Robbing Long Island Bank
A man and woman have been arrested for allegedly robbing a Long Island bank.
Caleb Christiansen, 30, of Riverhead, and Jeanne Marie Zoller, 49, of Mastic, were arrested on Sunday, March 8, after Suffolk County Police responded to a call for a robbery at a Lake Grove bank.
According to police, Christiansen allegedly entered TD Bank, located at 2822 Middle Country Road, and approached a teller, displayed a handgun and presented a note demanding cash around 2:35 p.m.

A former Hempstead Village Trustee has admitted to extorting business owners, accepting bribes, submitting false paystubs to obtain a mortgage and ticket fixing, Nassau County District Attorney Madeline Singas announced.
Perry Pettus, 63, was in Nassau County Court on Thursday, June 13, to plead guilty to the corruption charges, which accused him of using his position and power for personal gain.
