Maria Guallpa-Bonilla, age 36, of Bellport, was indicted on a count of leaving the scene of an incident without reporting in Suffolk County Court Thursday, July 18, in the death of Christopher Hlavaty. The 22-year-old died Monday night, June 10, after his motorcycle was struck by a car in Patchogue, near Main Street and Rider Avenue, according to police. 54-Year-Old Struck, Killed By SUV In Brentwood Police are investigating a fatal overnight crash on a Long Island roadway. It happened around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 17, in Brentwood. A 54-year-old man was crossing 5th Avenue at Kirk Road when he was struck by a northbound 1998 Nissan Pathfinder, according to Suffolk County Police.
