Alert Issued For Missing Long Island Woman
Police are asking the public for help locating a missing Long Island woman who hasn't been seen in more than a week.
Myriam Hoyos de Baldrich, age 69, of Seaford, was last seen at her residence by her son, on Friday, May 6.
She is described as being Hispanic, 4-foot-11, 160 pounds, with brown eyes, glasses, wavy reddish/brown hair, a stocky build and wears hearing aids, the Nassau County Police said.
Her possible destination is New York City.
Hoyos de Baldrich suffers from cognitive impairments and is in need of medical attention, police said.

Man In Serious Condition After Being Hit By SUV On Long Island
A man is in serious condition after being hit by an SUV while riding his bike on Long Island.
The incident took place in Seaford around 8:15 p.m., Thursday, April 28 on Sunrise Highway.
According to Nassau County detectives, the male bicyclist, age 54, crossing Sunrise Highway at Washington Avenue, was struck by a 2004 Nissan Pathfinder.
As a result of the collision, the man suffered multiple trauma injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment. He is listed in serious condition, police said.
