Suspect On Loose After Armed Robbery Of Taxi Driver In Riverhead Police are asking for help in locating a suspect who is charged with robbing a taxi cab driver on Long Island.  On Thursday, Nov. 3 at around 9 p.m., police in Suffolk County received a report of a robbery in Riverhead at the River Pointe Apartments at 821 East Main St., according to Riverhead Police.  Police said a male suspect approached the victim, a taxi cab driver, put a gun to his neck, and stole money from him before leaving the scene on foot, police said.  No injuries were reported from the robbery, according to police.  The suspect is described as a Black man …

The incident took place in the hamlet of Northampton near Riverhead in Wildwood Lake around 4:45 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 15. According to Southampton Police Lt. Police received a report of a crash on Ludlam Avenue in Riverside at 1:45 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 9, the Southampton Town Police Department reported. Officers determined that Dajoun Strange, of Riverhead, drove her vehicle while intoxicated and struck curbing, a mailbox, and trees, authorities said.
