Burglar Nabbed For $2K Theft In Glen Head: Police
A homeless man has been arrested nearly a month after he stole over $2,000 worth of goods from work trailers parked on the grounds of a Long Island high school. Police announced the arrest of 35-year-old Kyle Simpson on Tuesday, April 16 for his alleged role in the Glen Head burglary, which took place nearly a month before on Thursday, March 21. ‘Talents Knew No Bounds’: Musician, Clothing Designer From Long Island Dies At Age 36
Support is pouring in for the family of a beloved musician and clothing designer from Long Island following his death. Justin Lee, of Sea Cliff, died Saturday, Jan. 13 at the age of 36, according to his obituary. A cause of death was not given. Lee performed as a hip hop musician under the name “Lee Kid” and also had a passion for designing clothes, which he did under his brand OkOk Global. He was also an athlete, having played on the basketball and baseball teams at his alma mater, North Shore High School. 41 From Long Island Named Regeneron Science Scholars
A total of 41 of Long Island’s best and brightest high school seniors were among 300 chosen to compete with some of the nation’s top students in the Regeneron Science Talent Search competition. The 300 scholars were chosen out of 1,760 applications that were received from 611 high schools across 49 states. The 300 hail from 193 American and international high schools, Puerto Rico, and two other countries.
