50-Year-Old Set Fire To Long Island College Gym With People Inside, Police Say
A 50-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a suspected arson at a Long Island college gymnasium while people were inside, authorities said.
Robert Iannone, of Baldwin, was arrested Wednesday, Nov. 16, on suspicion of arson, Nassau County Police said.

Two people were nabbed with a loaded Glock-19 during a traffic stop on Long Island.
The incident took place in Inwood around 12:50 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 5 on Burnside Avenue.
According to Nassau County detectives, officers on patrol spotted a 2021 Toyota failing to maintain its lane while traveling eastbound on Burnside Avenue.

A Long Island woman who went missing has been located.
Carol Amato, age 62, of Massapequa, had last been seen leaving her Marion Place residence at around 9:20 a.m. Friday, Nov. 4, Nassau County Police said.
On Saturday, Nov. 5, police announced she has been found.
