Wife Airlifted, Husband Injured After Single-Vehicle Mastic Crash
A husband and wife were both injured in a single-vehicle crash overnight on Long Island.
It happened around 9:55 p.m. Friday, June 24 in Mastic.
Justino Lopez, age 43, of Mastic, was operating a Kawasaki motorcycle with his wife as a passenger, heading northbound on Titmus Drive, when the vehicle crashed near Ardmour Drive, Suffolk County Police said.
Danielle Lopez, age 35, of Mastic, was airlifted to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of serious but non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.

Two pedestrians, including a child, were killed after a vehicle went off the road and crashed onto a bike path in Lake George, according to New York State Police.

Motorcyclist Dies After Crash In Parking Lot Of Long Island School
A man who crashed his motorcycle in the parking lot of a Long Island school Sunday, April 24, has died from his injuries, police said.
In a statement released Tuesday, April 26, Suffolk County Police said Victor Nigro, age 65, of Bay Shore, succumbed to his injuries.
Nigro was seriously injured when he lost control and wrecked his bike in the parking lot of Gardiner Manor Elementary School on Wohseepee Drive, police said.
He was taken to South Shore University Hospital with what were initially described as serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
