A dozen of Tufts University's 50 lacrosse players were sidelined earlier this month with a muscle-destroying illness following a grueling workout led by a Navy SEAL, school officials said. A US senator and one-time MMA fighter threatened to fight a New Englander who is the president of the Teamsters, over a mean tweet on Tuesday, Nov. 14. Republican Sen. Good Boy: Police Dog Sniffs Out Alleged Catalytic Converter Thief Hiding In Long Island Woods
A police canine on Long Island deserves a few extra doggy treats after sniffing out an alleged catalytic converter thief who was found hiding in the woods. The ordeal began Saturday morning, Oct. 22, when the suspect was seen running into the Rocky Point State Pine Barrens Preserve, Suffolk County Police said. That’s when officer Matthew Dewitt and his canine partner, Champ, “did what they do best: track down the bad guy,” the department said in a statement.
