Two Nabbed, One At Large After Trio Flees From Disabled Stolen SUV In Westchester
Two people were arrested and another got away after allegedly stealing an SUV and then fleeing when state police arrived on the scene. The incident took place around 1:45 p.m., Sunday, April 19, when state police responded to assist a state H.E.L.P. truck with a disabled vehicle on I-95 in the town of Harrison, said Trooper Tara McCormick. Connecticut Plan To Install I-684 Toll Sparks Backlash Among New Yorkers
Many New Yorkers are miffed at Connecticut Gov. Ned Lamont’s proposal to install toll gantries on I-684, which would force some residents to have to pay a toll without traveling to or from the state. Lamont introduced his latest plan for statewide tolls, including one in a remote stretch of I-684 in Greenwich that will force motorists to pay, despite being in the state for only about one mile. Amazon To Open Facility In Fairfield County
Amazon is set to open a new distribution center in Fairfield County early next year, potentially creating hundreds of jobs for area residents.
