Six Accused Of Selling Heroin, THC At Five Long Island Stores
Six Long Island men were nabbed during a raid for allegedly selling drugs at smoke shops throughout the region.
The arrests took place around 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 10, during the execution of a search warrants at five Evolve Smoke Shops in Nassau County.
During the search, large quantities of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) were recovered, along with MDMA, heroin and cash, said the Nassau County Police.
The following people were arrested:

Drunk Driver Crashes Into Cruiser, Causing Hours-Long Long Island Expressway Closure In Suffolk
A chain-reaction crash involving an allegedly drunk driver caused the hours-long closure of a stretch of the Long Island Expressway.
It happened around 4:45 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 27 in Hauppauge.
Tracy Smith, age 30, of Huntington Station, was driving a 2021 Volkswagen on the westbound side of the expressway, a half-mile west of exit 55, when his vehicle veered off the road and struck a Highway Patrol Bureau cruiser, with its lights activated, that was parked on the shoulder behind another vehicle, Suffolk County Police said.

Duo Arrested In Nassau County Facing Drug, Weapons Charges, Police Say
Two people are facing drug and weapons charges after an investigation on Long Island.
Suffolk County residents Treshawn Lane, age 25, of Hauppauge, and 20-year-old Shantel Colon, of Middle Island, were arrested on Saturday, Jan. 22, in Farmingdale, according to the Nassau County Police Department.
NCPD said the defendants were arrested following an investigation into the sale of narcotics near the intersection of Main Street and North Front Street.
Further investigation also led to the recovery of a loaded handgun, police said.

A Long Island-based company has donated more than 1,000 school supplies items to support local students in need.
Between Monday, Aug. 16, and Wednesday, Aug. 25, Widex USA hosted a virtual school supply drive in Suffolk County for students in the Brentwood School District.
The company, which manufactures hearing aids, is based in Hauppauge.

A man was driving while intoxicated on the Long Island Expressway when he was involved in a crash that injured himself and seriously injured another person, police said.
It happened just after 2 a.m. Friday, Oct. 1 in Hauppauge.
James Todarello, age 72, of Coram, was driving a 2002 Mercedes-Benz, and Nolan Grant, age 57, of Medford, was driving a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee on the westbound Long Island Expressway near Exit 57 when the vehicles crashed, Suffolk County Police said.
