These NY Zip Codes Among Top 10 Most Expensive In US, New Report Says
Four zip codes in the Northeast rank in the Top 10 for most expensive in the United States, according to a brand-new report.
The rankings, published by CNBC, were determined by median home sale prices.
Three of those four zip codes are on the east end of Long Island, led by No. 2 Sagaponack (11962), which the report says has a median home sale price of $6,972,500, behind only No. 1 Atherton, California (94027), which is $9 million.
The other zip codes in the Hamptons making the Top 10 were Water Mill (11976) and Bridgehampton (11932).

Man Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Teenage Boy At Party In Hamptons
A Long Island man has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a 17-year-old boy during a party in the Hamptons.
Benjamin Coleman, age 29, of Hampton Bays, was arrested by Southampton Police on Thursday, Aug. 18.
According to the Sgt. Eric Sickles, of the Southampton Police, on Saturday, Aug. 6, a 17-year-old who was attending a party in Hampton Bays at a house where Coleman resides, called police reporting a sexual assault.

Father Of Two Brothers Killed In Hamptons Crash Plans To File Lawsuit
The father of two passengers who died in a head-on crash in the Hamptons in July that claimed the lives of five people is planning to file a lawsuit, according to court filings.
The two-vehicle crash happened the night of Saturday, July 24, on Montauk Highway in Suffolk County, in the Village of Quogue, near the intersection of Quogue Street East.
Among the five people killed in the crash were 20-year-old Michael Farrell and 25-year-old James Farrell Jr.

'Smaller' Hamptons Estate Sold By Billionaire For $42.5M
Michael S. Smith, a billionaire, and Iris, his wife, sold their smaller Hamptons mansion on Surfside Drive for a reported $42.5 million, according to the New York Post.
The sellers reportedly paid $110 million for an East Hampton property in 2016, the newspaper said.
The recently sold house is located at 263 Surfside Drive in Bridgehampton, according to the article.
It has seven bedrooms, 14 baths and is 7,400 square feet, and the price was $27,500,000 when it last sold in January 2015, according to Zillow.
