A high-ranking official in New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s administration is facing charges of assaulting her partner in Westchester, according to multiple reports.
Melissa Quesada, the New York State director of Latino affairs, reportedly allegedly attacked her partner on Sunday, Nov. 3 in her New Rochelle home and she was arrested by police on Thursday, Nov. 21, according to court papers obtained by The New York Post.

A Long Island woman has been charged after police say she was involved in a crash while driving drunk with three children in the car.
Suffolk County Police say Jordan Godfrey, 22, of Holbrook, was driving a 2018 Hyundai sedan southbound on Hawkins Avenue near Patricia Lane in Lake Grove when the vehicle went off the road and struck a utility pole at approximately 5:35 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 4.
There were four passengers in the vehicle, including Gail Block, 75, of Islip and three children, ages 2, 3 and 7, according to police.

Man Breaks Into Long Island Home, Holds 9-Year-Old At Knifepoint, Police Say
A man is behind bars after allegedly breaking into a home and then holding a 9-year-old boy at knifepoint as he threatened the rest of the family.
The home invasion took place around 6:50 a.m., Sunday, Dec. 1, when Nassau County Police responded to a home on Liberty Street in Uniondale, said the Nassau County Police.
According to detectives, Gregory Davidson, 43, of Uniondale, entered the home through an unlocked kitchen door, grabbed a kitchen knife and then went into one of the home's bedrooms.

A Long Island man driving drunk with a child aboard crashed into another SUV at a McDonald's Drive-Thru, police said.
The crash happened on Thursday, Nov. 28 at 9:20 p.m. in Elmont, Nassau County Police said.
Manuel B. Asuncion, 46, of Elmont, was operating a 2006 Suzuki SUV when police say he struck the vehicle stopped in the McDonald’s Drive-Thru located at 1240 Elmont Road.
Asuncion struck the rear of a Nissan Rogue with two occupants, a male, 48, and a female, 47. Officers responded to the accident. No injuries were reported.

A Long Island woman who fled the scene of a crash in which a pedestrian was injured was driving drunk with a child inside the vehicle, police say.
It happened on Saturday night, Nov. 16 in Wyandanch.
Tasena Jennings, 33, of West Babylon, was driving a 1999 Lincoln Navigator northbound on N. 20th Street when the vehicle struck an occupied, parked 2003 GMC, causing the GMC to strike a pedestrian in front of 127 N. 20th St. at 7:10 p.m., Suffolk County Police said. Jennings then fled the scene, according to police.
