In Brooklyn federal court, 10 members and associates of the Indios Locos Salvatruchas clique of La Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13), a transnational criminal organization, were charged with murder in-aid-of racketeering, attempted murder, murder conspiracy, related firearms offenses, and marijuana distribution conspiracy.
It is alleged that the MS-13 gang members murdered Andy Peralta, Victor Alvarenga, and Abel Mosso in Queens in 2018 and 2019.

South Floral Park resident Brian Marshall-Gibson, 25, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder, attempted murder, and criminal possession of a weapon after an incident in Hempstead two years ago, District Attorney Madeline Singas announced.

Lenny Traveras, 26, of Freeport, was arrested on Wednesday, April 1, for the incident which took place around 3 p.m. Wednesday, March 25, in front of a residence in Freeport, said the Nassau County Police.
According to detectives, Traveras allegedly fire two rounds from a handgun at a 27-year-old man he was having a verbal argument with in front of a house on Bedell Street, police said.

A Long Island man has been charged with attempted murder and a host of other charges after violent overnight incidents involving separate women, police say.
The incidents happened in Hempstead and Roosevelt on Friday, March 13 at 10:30 p.m. and Saturday, March 14 at 12:30 a.m., Nassau County Police said.

Two Suffolk County men have been arrested for gunning down a Plainview man as he arrived home following a traffic dispute in an apparent road-rage incident.
Douglas Coudrey, 22, of Eastport, and Kenneth Regan, 21, of Centereach, were arrested on Thursday, Feb. 6, by Nassau County police for the Jan. 14 murder of Justin Gottlieb, 27, of Plainview, said the Nassau County Police.
