Alert Issued For Freeport Man Missing Since Hospital Discharge Police are looking for a Freeport man who has gone missing after being discharged from Nassau County Medical Center. It was reported to Nassau County Police on Wednesday, July 17 that Anthony Schlechter, 70, who suffers from a cognitive disorder, was missing, according to police. He was last seen Monday, July 15 after being discharged from the medical center in East Meadow, according to police.
