Woman Airlifted In Route 80 Crash: Njsp A woman had to be airlifted to a nearby hospital after a crash on Route 80, the early morning of Monday, Oct. 28, state police said. At 2:56 a.m., a Madza SUV was traveling westbound on Route 80 in Rockaway Township when it entered the right shoulder and crashed into the back of an unoccupied truck, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. The driver, a 28-year-old Kenvil woman, sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to an area hospital, Lebron said. The crash remains under investigation, Lebron said.

Federal PA Corrections Officer Slashed, Choked Woman Because Of Text: Morris County Prosecutor A 45-year-old Luzerne County, PA man was arrested and charged after he slashed a woman in the abdomen and choked her in Morris County on Saturday, Oct. 5. Two Injured In Route 521 Crash: Njsp Two people were injured in a two-car crash on Route 521 South in Sussex County on Friday, Oct. 25, authorities said. At 7:53 a.m., two passenger vehicles collided in a head-on crash on County Road 521 South in Montague Township, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. A third vehicle struck debris from the prior collision, Lebron said. The two drivers involved in the head-on collision sustained non-life-threatening injuries, Lebron said. Man Diagnosed With Dementia Missing In Bloomfield: Police (Photo) An 87-year-old man diagnosed with dementia is missing, Bloomfield police announced on Friday, Oct. 25. Charles Newcomer was last seen on Thursday, Oct. 24, at 6:30 p.m., when he left from visiting his wife at the Brookdale assisted living facility in West Orange, police said. Drunk Driver Crashes Into Light Rail Train In Hoboken: NJ Transit A drunk driver was arrested after they crashed into a light rail train on the early morning of Friday, Oct. 25, authorities said.
