Video: Wanted Suspect Threatens Long Island Store Clerk With Hunting Knife, Demands Cash

A knife-wielding man in a mask threatened to kill a store clerk before robbing a Long Island tobacco shop last month.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police investigators are attempting to locate a man caught on camera at approximately 10:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 5 robbing the Venom Smoke Shop on Montauk Highway in Copiague.

In the video, the man can be seen looking around before sliding the mask over his face. He then threatened a store clerk and shouted for “money now” while pointing the knife at the clerk. He then made off with an undisclosed amount of cash and ordered the clerk to “look down” while he fled on foot.
