Good Samaritans Rescue Woman Run Over By Vehicle Outside Hudson Valley Convenience Store
The quick actions of two Good Samaritans are credited with rescuing a woman who was run over by a vehicle outside a convenience store in the Hudson Valley. The incident happened in Dutchess County on Friday, Feb. 10 at approximately 2:20 p.m. in the parking lot of the Extra Mart located at 2 West Market St. in the village of Red Hook. Local Mayor, Good Samaritans Help Evacuate Residents After Fire Breaks Out In Hudson Valley
A local mayor and good Samaritans helped evacuate residents from a Hudson Valley home after they failed to react to a fire alarm. The incident took place in Dutchess County around 10 a.m., Sunday, Oct. 23 in the city of Poughkeepsie. Poughkeepsie Mayor Rob Rolison was on his way to a church service when driving on Delafield Street he hear a loud fire alarm and smoke coming from the second floor of a home. Mallard, 10 Ducklings Rescued From Hudson Valley Shopping Center
Oh, quack. A mallard duck and her 10 little ducklings almost got squished Wednesday when they took refuge under a car in the parking lot of a local shopping center. But no worries, the Ramapo Police Department, along with the city's animal control officer, and a couple Good Samaritans quickly came to the rescue and were able, with quite a bit of effort, to rescue all the ducks. Once captured and put in a box, the family was relocated to a nearby stream out of harm's way.
