Figo, a male golden retriever, was in a splint following surgery to his right front leg. His owner, Audrey Stone, 62, is in Danbury Hospital recovering from several broken ribs, a broken elbow and a broken ankle, NBC New York reports.
"All of us at Middlebranch Veterinary would like to thank everyone for the generous outpouring of well wishes for the service dog Figo (Not Bigo)," Middlebranch Veterinary posted on its Facebook page. "He is resting comfortably and recovering nicely from his wounds."
