Vijay P. Cheema, 74, of Fort Salonga, died in the Monday, Sept. 14 crash into the Sunken Meadow State Park toll booth on the north end of Sunken Meadow State Parkway in Kings Park, New York State Police said.

William Ferrato, 71, of Amagansett, was charged with third-degree criminal tampering for the incident on Tuesday, Sept. 15, the East Hampton Town Police Department said.
