Rollover Crash: Car Flips On Side On Windy Hudson Valley Road A windy Hudson Valley road was briefly blocked by a flipped-over vehicle after a one-car crash, fire officials said. The incident happened in Putnam County on Sunday, Nov. 5 just before 7:30 a.m., when the Mahopac Volunteer Fire Department responded to Union Valley Road for a single-car crash. According to the department, the car rolled over on its side as a result of the crash. Authorities have not revealed if any people were injured or the cause of the rollover.

I-84 Crash: 20-Year-Old From Hudson Valley Seriously Injured One person suffered serious injuries and two others were hospitalized after a single-vehicle rollover crash in the Hudson Valley. It happened around noontime Wednesday, Aug. 23 on eastbound I-84 in the town of Newburgh. Preliminary investigation revealed that a blue 2007 Honda Civic was traveling east on Interstate 84 when the operator of the vehicle, identified as a 20-year-old Middletown man, lost control of the car causing it to leave the highway and roll into the median, New York State Police said. Firefighter Hit By Car At Scene Of Vehicle Rollover In Hudson Valley: 'Please Slow Down' A firefighter was injured after they were struck by a car while responding to a vehicle rollover in the Hudson Valley.  The incident happened in Putnam County on Wednesday, March 15, when firefighters and Carmel Volunteer Ambulance Corps members responded to a vehicle rollover in Carmel on Stoneleigh Avenue near Putnam Hospital, firefighters announced on Saturday, March 18. 46-Year-Old Killed In Rollover Crash On Area Roadway A 46-year-old area man was killed in a rollover crash on an area roadway, police said. Orange County resident Daniel P. Sullivan, age 46, of Campbell Hall, died around 8:15 p.m., Monday, March 14, following the crash on Sarah Wells Trail in Campbell Hall, said Trooper Steven Nevel. When troopers arrived on the scene, they found a 2015 Honda Accord off the roadway and on its roof, Nevel said. 18-Year-Old Killed In Single-Vehicle Crash In Region A man from the region died in a single-vehicle rollover crash. Sullivan County resident Robert J. Lands, age 18, of Neversink, was killed around 3:50 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 16, after rolling his car at 482 Stanton Corners Road in the town of Liberty, said the New York State Police. According to Trooper Steven Nevel, an investigation revealed that a 1995 Dodge-Ram was traveling on Stanton Corners Road and failed to negotiate a curve causing the vehicle to leave the roadway on the north shoulder and overturn.  Lands was pronounced dead at the scene. An investigation is ongoing.
