Fatal Crash: Teen Falls Asleep Driving In Hudson Valley, Hits Car Head-On, Police Say A 54-year-old man was killed in a head-on crash after the other driver allegedly fell asleep and crossed into his lane of travel. The incident took place in Dutchess County in LaGrange around 3:40 p.m., Friday, Sept. 15 on Route 55. An investigation determined a 17-year-old driving a 2015 Honda CRV eastbound fell asleep and entered the westbound lane striking a 2021 Kia Sorrento driven by Suffolk County resident Gabriel T. The incident took place in the town of LaGrange around 10 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 24 on Route 55/Freedom Plains Road. According to Trooper AJ Hicks, Carol A. The crash took place around 3:15 p.m., Tuesday, March 8 in Dutchess County on Route 55 and South Cross Road in LaGrange. Small Plane Crashes In Hudson Valley A small plane crashed late Sunday afternoon, Dec. 27 in the Hudson Valley.
