Hudson Valley Man Makes 16 Emergency Calls In Effort To Have Neighbor Evicted, Police Say
A man from the region has been charged with allegedly making 16 emergency calls in an effort to get his neighbor evicted. Ulster County resident Brian P. Johnson, age 47, from the hamlet of Ruby, was arrested on Wednesday, Oct. 18 for falsely reporting an incident and criminal impersonation. Chief Kyle S. Berardi of the Ulster Police Department said Johnson was charged following an 18-month investigation stemming from the 16 calls to 911 made between March 2022 and Sept. 2023. 9 Teens Cause $30K In Damage To Hudson Valley Business, Police Say
Nine teens were nabbed for the burglary of an office building causing more than $30,000 in damages. The incident happened in Ulster County on Monday, May 1 in the town of Ulster at the I Park 87 property (former IBM campus) on Enterprise Drive. The teens, all from Dutchess County, ranging in age from 17 to 19, were arrested over the past week by the Ulster Police following a month-long investigation, said Chief Kyle S. Girl, 9, Drowns While Swimming In Hudson River
The body of a 9-year-old girl has been recovered after she was reported missing while swimming in the Hudson River. The incident took place in Ulster County. The girl had been reported missing around 5:45 p.m., Monday, June 7 at Sojourner Truth Ulster Landing Park in the town of Ulster.
