A malnourished dog was abandoned on Long Island, and cops are looking for the suspect. The mixed breed female dog was found Monday, Aug. 24 near Dawn Drive in Shirley, the Suffolk County Police Department said. “The dog was malnourished and brought for medical attention,” police said in a Monday, Sept. 14 news release. Mystery Surrounds Man Found Dead Near LI Strip Mall Before Dawn
A man was found dead off a Long Island road early Monday, Sept. 14, police said. Cops responded to an aided call around 4:05 a.m. in Uniondale, the Nassau County Police Department announced. When officers arrived, they found an “unknown male” in the area of 979 Nassau Road, just north of where the street passes over the Southern State Parkway, police said.
